The awards are being held in Los Angeles and Black Coffee beat out the likes of AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Diamond Platnumz,MzVee, Serge Beynaud, Wizkid and Yemi Alade.
Wearing a green suit, the DJ thanked South African fans for their support.
